OUR AVAILABLE DOGS....
We would like to introduce everyone to one of our newer rescue fosters Emmy Lou (formerly Delilah). Emmy is a young 2-3 yrs. old fawn Boerboel found wondering the streets in Prince William, MD. She is a petite girl at only 86 lbs. She is UTD on all shots, currently on HWP and is now spayed. Everyone that has met or been around Emmy is amazed by what a sweet and gentle girl she is. She shows no food or toy aggression, is currently working on her leash manners and learning her crate is a pretty comfy and safe place. She is currently being fostered in VA. She adores kids, is dog selective as she doesn't do well with her current medium sized foster brother. She does not react to dogs outside the home or at the vet unless they are the ones not being nice. She does not like cats...repeat...NO CATS...LOL.
Vader is a gorgeous young boy approximately 1 year old. He was found on the streets of Miami with a broken hip. He had surgery on 8/8/2018 to repair his hip on one side and then broke his hip on the other side due to a degenerative disease that affects the femur heads. He has had both hips repaired and is recovering nicely at this time. He will be available to go to his new home as soon as his recovery is complete. He is currently undergoing physical therapy. Would do best in a low energy home. Currently being fostered in FL.
Diesel is officially ready for adoption as of 11/12/2018 . He is located in upstate New York. A little over a year old, neutered, utd on vaccines, and pretty much a big ole puppy that needs lots of guidance. He needs a home that is experienced with large guardian breeds, that knows how to be the pack leader, a home that will continue his training on through his adult life. He likes other dogs and is not dominant. He gets on well with his fosters females and males. He does well with cats and other animals. He is very active and needs a home that is willing to exercise him as much as he needs, a home that goes on long walks, a home that will play fetch and tug and spend quality time with him. He loves to play fetch and play tug the most out of anything. No children under the age of 10 as his energy level and sheer size could harm a small child without meaning to. He likes to be left in peace at meal time and needs to be fed separately from other dogs as well.
